Quick and Easy 10 Minute Chili

SERVING SIZE: 1 cup
SERVINGS: 10
PREPARATION TIME: 5-10 minutes
COOK TIME: 20 minutes (stove top) or 4-5 hours (slow cooker)

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:quick-chili
Slow cooker or large sauce pan
Can opener
Serving spoon or ladle

INGREDIENTS:
½     cup water
1     cup onion, chopped
4     teaspoons chili powder
3     15 ounce cans beans (black, kidney, or pinto)
1     28 ounce can diced tomatoes
¼     cup bulgur (optional)
Pepper to taste10-minute-chili-nutrition

SLOW COOKER DIRECTIONS:
1.      Put all ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker and stir
2.      Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours
3.      Pour into bowls and add low-fat sour cream, cheese, or cilantro if desired

STOVE TOP DIRECTIONS:
1.      Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and stir
2.      Cover and cook on medium-low heat for about 20 minutes
3.      Pour into bowls and add low-fat sour cream, cheese, or cilantro if desired
